Hello dear readers,
It's been about six months since I took up this assignment, of training students and upcoming professionals in creative designing softwares, and helping them find their feet in the real world.
The going has been pretty good so far, and I intend to update my skills and also continue not only to impart good training, but also entertain the young boys and girls with some humour thrown aside, now and again.
Besides, ;life is all about spreading good cheer and happiness all around, at the end of the day, irrespective of what status or position one may have reached in life.
Money is a secondary concern, because true talent never goes unrecognised, and talent I've been blessed with, in plenty.
So, right now it's Corel Draw and Flash, with a fair bit of 3Ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, Page Maker and Microsoft Dream Weaver thrown in.
Finally, it feels good to have experienced the much hyped fast-paced life of this city.
Well, this city sure has a long, long way to go if it has to reach the heights that Shanghai has, at the moment, and for that purpose we need to improve our system of education, the roads, and eliminate the root of all evil, corruption, to the best extent possible.
I believe it is each and every one's role to ensure that this happens, I'm sure we can spare a fair bit of time to sav our country from potential disaster.
I must say, I've onl;y been an armchair critic till now, but looking at the state of a metro like Mumbai, I can only imagine the plight of smaller towns, these days.
As I would say, my role as a teacher would not only be restricted to the class room, but also in the outside world, and I'm doing my bit to help improve people's civic sense...........can cite an example of a close friend of mine, who was conveniently trying to use the road side as a point of urination............now I, was shocked oput of my wits. Why would an educated individual, and one who has earned a fair bit of respect in the city, be so callous? Small concerns like these, keep me active, and surely, it is only a matter of time before I increase the awareness levels of individuals as far as possible, and do my bit in keeping the city clean.
As for now, have been bitten by the music bug, and singing lessons are on, in full flow, mastering the nuances of our traditional forms of music, as much as possible.
That's about it for the moment. Will keep updating you folks on the latest in my life, as and when it happens.
Till then, cheers, stay awake, and aware, keep the nation clean, and love one and all.
Regards
Vaibhav Shastry.
